With
issue 7 we reached a stage where we fancied being a bit thicker and chunkier.
So we doubled the number of pages and gained a thicker cover and a groovy
spine. People keep telling us that this issue looks more like a book, and
we have to agree! 100 pages of counter-cultural delight. This issue features
the genius that is Dan Clowes, also a homage to home taping, inspired by
the recent book by Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth. Plus our affectionate
tribute to bands that bombed, but had a good time along the way. Ken Russell
and his 1950s pictures of London's teddy girls. Noir writing on noir writing
by crime writer extraordinaire Cathi Unsworth.JT Leroy 9continued in issue
8 when the truth came out!) Godzilla. CocoRosie. The Tiger Lillies. Dr D.
Mr Clement. It's enormous… £3.00 (UK) £5.00 (rest of Europe) £7.00 (rest of world) |
